Dream Or Reality Poem by kathleen hintz

Seeing the gates and heavens doors,
right in front of my eyes.
angels all surrounding me,
a little girl on her hands and knees
asking if i've seen her family.
i got destracted by the big scar on the back of her head
asking very nicely when was the last time she saw them
i found out she was in the car when they
came across a train her mother to drunk to notice
the little girl said from there everything was blank
thinking to myself how depressing it was
i told her to come with me
walking through the gates was incredible
seeing everyone so happy
but then remembering the little girl
that didn't know she'll never met her family
til' they go up into heaven
she didn't know she had passed away
what was i supposed to say
'your mother made a bad mistake and know your body is in the ground
while your spirit will live free? '
that was not the way to go i dicided i would take her
to the lord for he will be so glad to tell her everything
yes for he did tell her everything but in the end she gave him a great
hug........
i've never seen anybody say so much kind words leading to the end of which
they had to explain why
looking down
i could see the mothers sad eyes and frown
the lesson she had learned was so powerful
it was like taking a butterflies wings off
