The songbird sings
In the serene hush
Lifting our souls
Drowsily toward the sky

Music plays out
Igniting the passion
Moving our bodies
To the sway of notes

Harmony calls in the
Oblique darkness sending
A ring, so pure, letting our
Hearts soar to the place of oblivion

Electricity pulses through
Our veins giving life to all
Shocking us in new ways
Then leaving us all alone

Star gazing light
Shows us the way
To keep moving on
Even if our heads may lay.
