Dreaming Of You 2 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Dreaming now of holding your hand
while sitting back and looking in
your eyes getting lost in your sprit within.
Captivated and taken by the pure beauty
I see before me and in awe that you're mine.
I'm dreaming of you and all the beautiful
things we will do when you are here,
spending time together at last.
Having our world around us to ourselves.
Just us enjoying and celebrating
the loving union and bond that we share.
Always in each others arms being as close as possible.
Just lying in bed on lazy days,
cuddling and kissing passing the hours,
sharing ourselves in pure closeness knowing that
it is true love that we're giving and celebrating.
I'm dreaming of many days spent in bed just snoozing
or time spent together strengthening
our bond even further becoming closer as people.
I'm dreaming of you and my hearts calling out.
Do you feel the joy and anticipation it sends?
Excited for the days ahead with my lady
her heart beating with mine right next to me.
I'm dreaming of you and all the time my love grows.
I need you sweet lady and love you so much
I will take you into my arms and hold you
against me forever in spirit and as often as
I'm dreaming of you and holding on knowing
our dream will come true and we'll always
have each other for eternity side by side.
