Dreams Poem by Zia Eybers

Dreams

I want to linger in my dreams
Skipping along crystal clear streams
Eating bright red juicy strawberries
While chatting away with Woodland faeries

Running through meadows filled with sweet flowery scents
Listening to the wise whispers of Tree Ents
Dandelion seeds fill the sky after a sudden breeze
Stirred up by Dragons playfully gliding by
Panic is a thing of reality as all is still at ease

In endless fields you’ll find mythical Unicorns
Prancing about with their famous horns
In my dreams I am strangely always calm
It’s as if I treated my skin to Chamomile balm

Forever I want to stay in this gloomy daze
Even should I find myself hopelessly lost in a maze
If needed I could call on Gandalf’s Eagle to set me free
And gently release me under a majestic Willow tree
Next to the crystal clear stream
So that I can continue my journey
Continue my dream
