Dreams Poem by Alice Kwan

Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Oh why? Cannot i sleep through the day
Waste many sorrows i do in sunlight,
though night erases my mind, blackness
Oh how I enjoy it so. To go to the place of the non-knowing
to relax fully and think about nothing
Colors fill my mind never quite put together
and life without sleep is no life at all.
So what does that make me
A dream-lover without any dreams
a sleep-craver without any sleep
It is quite true that i am lost
without any life in me, as i stare
into my faded blue eyes i see nothing but longing
No dreams for me
Not lucky am i, to enjoy such wonders
No life, i can ever enjoy
No life, is what i have
Oh why?
