Just A Star Poem by Alice Kwan

Just A Star

I see the sun, shining every one eles out.
His brilliance makes me lust.
So bright and lovely.
So incredibly marvelous.

And i a humble star,
Laying in dark space
Couldn't admire the sun more.
He is my very life, my own breathe.

But the sun loves the moon.
That cold piece of dross.
She doesn't deserve the warmth he brings.
Shes icy and lifeless.

But they love each other,
They are the balance
The night and day.
And i am a star, just a star.

A little piece of light,
Not big enough to count.
I am nameless until some ones buys me.
While the sun and the moon dance.

I danced as I read your poem. Its got lots of elements in it, 'sun, moon, stars' every poets tool box, has those and you used it to great perfection to describe your theme. excellent.
