Dreams Poem by Derek R. Audette

Dreams

If I had one wish,
I'd be tempted
to wish for the ability to invent
a machine
capable of recording one's dreams.

My dreams are of the highest art
that I know,
and it is a shameful misfortune
that they always play
merely to an audience of
one.
