Dreams Poem by Rishabh Kashyap

Dreams

She came at day,
She came at night,
Took my heart, my soul,
She was my paradise.

Like the mad I wanted to try,
For her I could bear all the pain,
She filled the voids, her thoughts,
Pushed me to go insane.

She smiled at all the care,
She knew i would never leave,
She showed me her beauty, the desires,
The happiness of feeling free.

The walls I had built around,
For her I wanted to break,
For a touch of her, her musical sound,
My life did He create.

The spirit holds the fire,
The body learns to ride,
To be one with her, yet eternal,
The feelings my words fail to describe.

With vows to return to her,
Promises that I wanted to keep,
I thought I would build myself, for her,
I thought I was too weak.

Cries of love of hate pushed me,
The world saw no pain,
Fear of failure, I could bear,
But they couldn't bear my change.

She stayed with hope in her eyes,
One day I might return,
But with the hands meant to build her, love her,
I slayed her so the world could run.

She smiled even when she was buried,
Somewhere far away from me,
Knew i'll come someday, for I exist for her,
And she exists as my dream.
