First Sight Poem by Rishabh Kashyap

First Sight

It was not meant to happen,
I thought I had control,
But who can stop something that simple,
And as beautiful as snowfall.

The scent of hope and freedom,
In the joyous air around you,
The spark in your eyes, the curvy smile,
And it's not only your beauty that defines you.

I know it is just a glimpse,
Of everything with which you are made,
And there is nothing like true bliss,
For every choice, we have to pay.

But I could not even fathom,
And my mind has reached this state,
That if there is a heart inside me,
It is all yours to take.
