Dreams Poem by christy fallon

Dreams

I gaze upon her from my lair
Awestruck by her diamond stare
Hair cascades like a morning glow
Smile so radiant like winters snow
Wondering if I stand a chance
If only to catch a second glance
Starting to dream of so much fun
Playing freely I start to run
Now beneath my wistful gaze
Dreams become a purple haze
Left to wallow in despair
White rabbit leaves me without a care
If only the sands of time would wait for me
Hoping that the eye would see!
