Dreams Rewove Poem by Sara Militello

Dreams Rewove

Dreams Rewove

Oh, how unknowing makes fools of us all
whether musing on what dreams
and yesterdays we might mourn
when Into despair we let dreams fall.

Yet dreams may not wither and die each night
for, of a morning we can breathe them alive
and happily reweave them anew by mortal right
each newest way that dawns into sight.

It well could come to pass some new dawn
calls forth a quite different dream
and that dream take flight into a fresh theme
for a newly dawning scheme.

In this way there's always a renewed dream
to spur us toward a freshly expressed stream
and that new scheme tried on for size may one day
become a special dream or cultural meme ~

Very well done, I enjoyed this poem very much, trying our dreams on for size can be most interesting
