Dreams V.S Reality Poem by Caressa Dove

Dreams V.S Reality

Rating: 4.8

As the sun was setting,
You could hear the kids on the streets,
Laughing and playing.
The whole town was peaceful, and quiet.
As the sun went down, the moon began to rise.
The kids settled down, got into their beds.
The citizens of the town were nice, polite, and happy.
But that wasn't reality.
Reality is where everyone is rude and mean,
Drug addicts, alcoholics, and everything else.
There was no real happiness in reality, just false.
It was only a dream…

This poem paints reality in a small part of our world. That painting is hung in its own reality.++10
