Dreamscape Chronicles: Of Wonky Willows And Reclaimed Skies Poem by Mervyn Graham

Dreamscape Chronicles: Of Wonky Willows And Reclaimed Skies

In Blayre's dream, a mall unseen,
Where reality bends, and dreams converge.
Her wonky willow, her foot's strange plight,
But amidst the chaos, a glimmering light.

Her favorite shop, with kindness rare,
Gifts her fairies, a gesture so fair.
Discounts bestowed, a gift card to keep,
In this dream mall, where troubles sleep.

Events unfold, she lends a hand,
In dream logic's grasp, she takes her stand.
Takedown complete, she waits alone,
In this dream realm, all paths are sown.

To the roof zoo, they dare to ascend,
Sky restaurant closed, yet dreams extend.
Jack by her side, in a kayak they glide,
Over flooded waters, dreams collide.

Conversations drift, of showers and sand,
Rebellion brews in this dreamland.
Cool frogs discovered, on the edge they tread,
Breaking laws, dreams fill with dread.

But victory claimed, in rebellion's fray,
The sky reclaimed, in the light of day.
Strange grape jelly poptarts, shared with a friend,
In dreams, all journeys find their end.

An official decree, victory won,
Sky park and restaurant to be undone.
Jalapenos forced, a bittersweet close,
In Blayre's dream mall, where anything goes.
