Dreamscope Poem by Cynthia Aluning

Dreamscope

Imagine the vast universe...
The earth looks so tiny in space
Its coarse roads too wide to traverse
For lovers who feel a love so intense,
The nearness of the hearts,
Is not a matter of distance

Imagine we fly to the highest heaven
With closed eyes, drifting as to no end
Finding...searching...when our eyes could meet again
A walk on the clouds hand in hand,
A precious moment to spend
Of two bodies in one soul it will dwell

Imaginations drawn in simplest telepathy
To preset dreams in synchronous gravity
United in thoughts, spirits run free
Nearer and nearer, drifting from within
Engaging, never losing each other's grip
Never minding colossus space in between

Resonating minds put to sleep...
The stars starts decorating paths to see
A fairydusted sky, a perfect place to meet
On appointed time, illumined by the moonbeams
Lovers lost in space, distance finding its limits,
A never-ending story of lovetales born out of dreams

Awakening senses from a journey of the mystique
A glance of make-believe drawn to the highest peak
Far from realities, but holding on possibilities
In this play of the minds, only an enchanted wish

Forever caged in an old-fashioned tale...

Forever dreaming of a fantasy to break...
