Dreamy eyed girl
your head's in a whorl.
What are you thinking about?
I look but can't see.
I hope it is me.
I'm hoping but still I'm in doubt.

Your eyes are like mist,
like they've been kissed.
Was it my lips that you feel?
Your drifting thoughts flee
so far from me.
Tell me my fears are not real.

Dreamy eyed girl
come back to my world.
Will you stay close by my side?
Please let it be
that it was me.
