An hour and a half has ended
Your sleepy, melodic voice faded,
From the silence of the night
In its candid tone, pure and bright,
Still hear it as I showered before bed
Hoping to wash a memory from my head,
I tried to shampoo and rinse it away
But it feels more like a cold wind in May,
Then it became frozen thoughts of you
Hard to melt by the hot drizzles in view,
Strangely enough I enjoyed it though
Even if it isn’t really perfectly true,
For you are just like a dream so nice
Well in fact too kind to be a dry ice!
For you are just like a dream so nice Well in fact too kind to be a dry ice! - those two lines made me laugh, what a great poem this was. You had great rhyme and flow in this one as well. I enjoy your works.
