Drippy Drop



sometimes the last water drip
in a water bottle
is meant to remain
and such a little drippy drop
cannot cover the tongue
and steal thirst
so screw off the lid
lay it in the sun
and let it be drank into clouds
and give me and the earth to drink from its rain
for taking a small sip of a drip
what have I to gain?
