Droplets Poem by Sebastian Sandok

Droplets

Rating: 2.3

It is a sort of Tragic Romance,
the way a raindropp falls.
Any way you look at it-
it still hurts.
There is no law of effect,
or flimsy scientific theory
that says the Beautiful
will not be pain or pained.

Even if in all your childish delight,
you wanted to catch every
clear droplet on your warm
apple red tounge, before it
touched the ground-you couldn't.

If you were to ask me
at this very moment, I'd say;
'Don't even try! '
But of course you wouldn't
hear it or listen.

I try not to worry much anyhow.

Atleast I am not the one standing
outside in the pouring rain.
I'm not the one trying to do it all,
when it's wet out.
No, not me.
I like to keep to a dull dryness,
avoid the tragedy of the
Romantic Rainfall.

Nice poem, Sebastian. I love the rian and feel it is so refreshing. Of couse it can over-do it too, as it did in my area in Washington state this winter. We had vast flooding and caused a lot of problems. But that's rare. Marilyn
