Droplets - Poem by Kasia Fedyk

Nothing is ever as it seems,
like a river that flows so do we
sometimes we stop and look around, share the flow
we constantly drift as the river,
we carry what we have collected through out the journey
as the rain falls and touches the water, it caresses gently one by one,
the sweetness of the drops that attach themselves and become one,
each dropp sits in the secret chambers of the soul
the sun touches the river and warms its flowing water like a fire,
it flows free and opened
so enclosed with barriers only it may understand
constant search, never ending, it is the vessel,
it is the fuel,
the emptiness
free and eternal, infinite; in time and space
tangible and felt; like the river
Always one, always separated
