Drowned In Silence Poem by Felix Otiende

Drowned In Silence

Rating: 2.0

DROWNED IN SILENCE
Life was running and I was running after it
There were new roads, new ups and downs in it
In an unknown lane, I found a distitute like
She seemed like a naive person
She brought my world back to senses
And taught me the art of smiling and also how to drink grief

She was my full moon in the dense darkness of the night
She took control of my life
She had the remote control of my heart
Then the angel of death strunk
I wish I had power to bring back life

I was broken from the branches
My world was confused
She remained in my sight
Still I couldn't see
I'm of no use without her
My heart has become a wonderer
