Drought Poem by Felix Otiende

Drought

Rating: 4.3

Our ancestors have we wronged you?
Nor upset the gods! ?
The rain is running away
Cloudless day and night
The people are in thirst
Our rivers are dried
Where is the wind? Are you on honeymoon?

What is going on with the clouds?
Cloud! ! End the meeting in Tanzania
Am short to pull you down
The soil yearns for you
I still have hope God will shower his blessings;
Today or tomorrow.
