Drowning In Dark Matter Poem by Joshua Renner

Drowning In Dark Matter

Rating: 5.0

Just another stone underwater
Just another star in space
He kept on falling farther
All his life was a race
The time he spent was null and void
The depression he had got him fully destroyed
But he never saw how unique he was
Never sat in awe of how wondrous he was
Never thought raw to see how amazing he was
Never got to paw at how ponderous he was
His brain was so large it collapsed on itself
If only he saw that he was
Greater than a star underwater
Larger than the stones in space

A good depiction of the devastating effects of depression - loss of sunshine in a life at its deplorable low ebb, is aptly captured in the poem. An insightful piece of poetry elegantly brought forth in good diction with conviction. A beautiful poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Joshua. Please have a look at my poems.
