Drug Poem by Ashton Jackson

Drug

Its like being hooked to a hitch with a metal chain, drug across gravel with unbearable pain.
Tied and pulled with your two bare feet, I pray the day me and the dead end meet.
In my heart, I feel it all.
Tying to get back on my feet, I only fall.
When the person that was there to catch me in my past, was taken from my life all to fast.
So hard, I try to set myself free.
I cry, I beg, and I plea.
But every failed attempt to make a smile, Im drug again for another mile.
Masked from the pain, you feel down under.
No one see's you fall, nor plunder.
Wishing for the day that it'll all be over, still trying to find that four leaf clover.
