Drug Addiction - Poem by Efrain Martinez
The first time he kissed her lips,
He became addicted to that drug.
He felt like he was in heaven,
And didn't want to fall in Earth again.
Time passed and more he needed the drug,
Without her he was out of control.
She made him to be her slave
And he accepted because her kisses was his medicine.
Without the drug in his vein he felt like dying,
And she enjoyed seeing him being torture
by the drug in her lips;
there was no escape for him.
Cocaine is addictive and so was her lips,
He knew everything that was happening.
Yet he didn't want to leave his addiction
Even if the destiny was death.
Torture and joy for him,
Pleasure and passion for her.
A sad story of love
which ended in a tragedy.
