Drugs Poem by Angel Jordan

Drugs

As the smile began to fade,
and a single tear dropped;
he was no longer an aid,
Just a friendship that stopped.

No more hugs,
and no more kisses.
Not since the drugs,
she thinks of all the times she misses.

He used to be saved,
he used to be smart.
But not since he caved,
or the cruelness began to start.

It's like he's dead,
yet, another joint.
Not a thought in his head,
' Why doesn't he get the point? '

Now listen close,
perk up your ears.
Drugs hurt the most,
especially to your peers.
