Drunk On The Moon (With Waits) Poem by Julian Takali

Drunk On The Moon (With Waits)

You beautiful moon of delight, you gleam my eyes through the night

You gleam you gleam you gleam
They try to conceal your luster, but
all the might you can you muster
To escape their clasp and sneak a peek

You lovely moonray kissing my iris, you pale crescent shyness
Waving goodbye to me in a foreign tounge

But stay! For another drink, you must!
Thee are what I bask on, on our love and lust

As you blur away and drift beneath the clouds
As I sway and wave standing not to fall down

With the dower of mystery and secrecy
Thou glow shall bestow its whisper to me
