Dull Glory Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Dull Glory

A ray of light
has million delight
it can offer joy
to make a face bright
For me yet this chance
sets in all dull vibes
I see more grief and no respite

Once in years a moment arrive
to choose the one of my kind
words loosen to sit beside
my friend and also my guide

Queer it seems when
faith diffuse half way
my trust sinks down
And my light thus fade away

I lose myself in the dark
My blood freeze in shock
it was I who found faith
in a face of friend not foe
Yet the acts and scenes
Were never a plan of say
Light I avoid to save me
from this broken story
with not so unknown glory

This world is full of rude awakenings and we tremble at the impertinent musings, yet persists our human longing for the friendship to ever shining........Soumita.......very well composed piece on friendship
