During the medieval age, they
Looted, raided, invaded and plundered India,
Destroyed the ancient citadels of learning.
Libraries and other establishments,
Demolished the temples of worship,
The Lodis, the Tughluqs, the Mughals,
Can we negate it, Irfan Habib?

Were they not bigots, zealots,
The fanatics religiously blind,
Intolerant and prejudiced
The Muslim sultans and badshahs of India,
Say you,
O, Muslim historians of Aligarh?
