Dusk Sits In My Eyes Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Dusk Sits In My Eyes

Dusk sits in my eyes
I feel its heavy breathing
I scent its twinkling smells
Its chameleon light-wavering.

Guests of he night clouds
You
Accompanier of ghosts post-dusk

Last dusk was brazen
Shameless

But in it Beauty dwelt

But in it Beauty glimmering as gems.

Eastern queens of beauty this night
Made for glimmering.

The clouds are tired
Now
Propense to sleeping
Fanning them
The breezes from the cliffs
Rise
And
Rise.
