Dust To Dust Weeds Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Dust To Dust Weeds

You and I as one
Into the forest of hours
Times that have now gone
One and one their flowers

Yesterday was here
But now it's gone away
Oblivion is everywhere
Coming in day by day

Time is out grown
Dust to dust remain
Bouquets aren't shown
That once were in their main

All that we had in time
Flowers of many seeds
Are now lost into the lime
Dust to dust weeds
