Dutch Mountains Poem by gershon hepner

Dutch Mountains

He climbed tall mountains hardly Dutch
and crossed cool desert streams,
while on the oceans he would clutch
the asphalt, but he dreams
of Holland, which is very flat,
and deserts that are dry,
and of an ocean that begat
the deep beneath the sky.
