Dying Fire Poem by Nazeerr Adams

Dying Fire

Let the words I seek gather,
Round this dying fire
Black ashes and hot coals
To hear the whispers of,
A story in the cold
It is a summer's night, but
The stars have disappeared
And their companion,
The moon
Is nowhere to be seen,
Everything
Seems gloom,
With this fire dying
How long is it going to,
Take
How long will it linger,
Isn't it clear
There is no stopping what is already
Near
I sit alone, staring
Still waiting on these words,
To arrive
Before the light goes to hide,
I wonder
In the darkest of darkest,
Will I ever again,
See the light
Once the fire has died?

In summer's night stars have disappeared. Before the light goes off, you totally wonder. This is an amazing poem very well penned.
