Dying Hearts Poem by Jessica Canerday

Dying Hearts

Rating: 5.0

I wish to hear the words you say
But each wish dies at the dawn of every day
Dying wishes and dying love
Dying hearts with wings like doves
The nightmares outlast while these dreams never come true
The dreams of me being with you

Thanks for this poem, Jessica. The words 'I wish to hear the words you say, but each wish dies at the dawn of every day' paints such a poignant picture.
