You look at me

Neither of us
Know what to do

You walk towards me
I walk away
Neither of us
Know what to say

Your hearts skips a beat
My mind goes blank
I feel as if
I'm going ot faint

You try to speak
But the words won't come
As I stand and stare
My body goes numb

You speak so low
I barely hear
But what you say
Is very clear

You speak the three words most spoken
Yet are never true
You say the words
I love you
