Dying Humanity Poem by shakil ahmed

Dying Humanity

Dying Humanity

There is no way of redemption
For the dying humanity
They constantly waging war
And spreading animosity.

It is well-said that
‘Man is an animal’
Felling trees and destroying nature
Thinks it just, nothing is abnormal.

A quiet breath is not possible
Any where in the globe
Man has poisoned the world
Just by their harmful move.

No abode for wild animals
In the heart of deep forest
Men set up industries
Even in the hills crest.

Tiger stalks in the highway
Exposing its sharp fang
In the iron bars of windows
Monkeys hang.

Men are digging grave
For their own
These days are not far away
When all will moan.
