I want to believe in you
And hold on to every word you say
Like how much you say
That you love me

I'm in your heart
Forever to stay
And how you promised
You would never hurt me

Why can't you see
How much your killing me
You filled me up with hope
Just to smash and crush it

With broken promises and lies
Your love brings me nothing
Just agonizing pain inside me
I'm suffocating in hopelessness

Drowning in my despair
Your pulling me under
Killing me slowly
I'm gasping for air

I'm pleading for you to
Please let me go
From your strangle hold
You broken my soul

I have to break away
From your love that
Brings me nothing
Just sadness and pain.
