Sticks and Stones may
Break your bones
And words will never hurt you
That is so untrue

Words can cut you
Like shattered glass
Words can sting you
Like a pain never felt before

Words can crush and paralyze you
Leaving you emotionally broken
Mentally damaged, words spoken
Can be cruel shattering your heart

Break your soul leaving the scar
Words can hurt in so many ways
Sometimes them words burn so much
Words can take a life away

Words! Words! Words!
They hurt, they sting
Words are like bullets
When fired upon you
No mercy words can kill you.
