today
you are on vacation
with your god,
leaving
countless number
of your own devotees
stranded
holding
garlands that have wilted,
coping with
hearts that are tired of
waiting,
readers
no fault of theirs,
tired of
waiting for your
offerings.
if gods and goddesses were to rest, what will happen to all the mortals like us?
