E-Mail Poem by Edwina Reizer

E-Mail

Got a letter the other day.
Almost threw the thing away.
'Cause letters don't come too much anymore.
E-mail has taken them from my door.
We send them all around the place.
They're easy to type, easy to erase.
Hit delet and it's gone from your mind
into the ethers where you will find
that you can't remember what was said.
It left your sight. It left your head.
