Each Day 3 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Each day that comes I hope and
pray to hear from you,
to finally talk and catch up,
to begin to talk and work things out.
Figuring out where we went wrong
and the solutions to get through them.
A chance to apologize for what I did wrong,
to begin down the road to make all right with you.
Each day I think of us and all the times we shared,
all the good and bad laughing and crying right along.
Each day I think of you and how beautiful,
kind, loving and caring you are,
I remember the exceptional woman that I love
and smile thinking of your beaming soul.
Each day I look at what I did wrong,
I feel sorrow but use it to see the things
on which I need to work moving right along.
So when you return they'll be in line
to be the best man you could ever want.
Each day I think and work on those things I need to do.
Each day I hope and pray I'll hear from
you so we can tell everything we want and need,
to work out everything both good and bad
coming together on everything.
I love you my sweet lady and Angel of light so true,
each day I think of you hoping to hear those
treasured words and your sweet voice too,
I hope to hear them soon.
