Each Other Poem by Ray Hansell

Each Other

Rating: 5.0

we take a walk
through the park
you and I
holding hands
and laughing
every now and then
we stop to kiss
because there is
no reason to hide

the sun shines down
a slight breeze blows
and cools our warm faces
the trees sway
the grass smells good
because it's just been cut

we pay no attention
to the passage of time
because time no longer
is our enemy
we have all the time
we'll ever need
to be with each other

as we walk
and we talk
loves grows inside
both of our hearts
together at last
we both finally found
what we have
been spending
a lifetime looking for
