Eagle Lady Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Eagle Lady

Eagle Lady

Years ago, in Texas,
At a fair, I was young,
Hit bottles using balls.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, "
Said a woman behind me!

The story is too long,
I met her, and we talked.

"Washington and Moscow,
Are the eagles' two eggs,
Imagine two hatched chicks,
Fight and fight, keep fighting,
One must die; hooray the king."

Ukraine is just a ball…
Thrown into the war…

"Stupid, stupid, stupid, "
I hear the lady:
"The arms are from the,
Washington and friends,
To throw down the bear! "

"Hey, Lady of Eagles, "
Want to ask, I return:
"What is under ashes?
An ember or darkness? "
