Early Works - Compartments Of Splendour Poem by David Harris

Early Works - Compartments Of Splendour

Rating: 5.0

I sit here beside a river of sorts
with reed and underwater weed not far apart.
As the sun catches the waves
made by a gentle breeze
it looks like diamonds
dancing on a velvet background.
With gulls overhead,
swans gently swim through the waves
now the scene
for an artist playground is laid.
