Earth - My Dear Friend - Poem by Clara Odelia Ciutara

Stars' greenery were seen
Damp ground was slept
Drizzling rain of ocean was drunk
Animals were eaten

When my color was overcast
Golden sun be my friend
Trees be my shadow
I play with them

My stars was eaten by tower
My ground was slept by iron and steel
Drizzling rain of ocean became a poison
Emptiness fills my stomach

There's no color
Sun flows out disappointment
Of the plundered trees
Nobody I can play with

All lost
All was bitten by time
Just sickness left
Because of the agony of my friend

I promise
Time after time this will come to an end
Neither iron nor steel would exist
Truth screams
Because we all love you

My friend...
Don't die first
I don't know where are you
But I know you exist
Because my living is caused by you
Let me find you
To play again

Through poetry, yes, we wrote poems about Earth... how i long that many people may read them and persuade them to do proper actions for earth.... for our planet... (Report) Reply
