Easter Sunday Poem by SylvaOnyema (SUPER.T) Ubah

Easter Sunday

On Friday
He went to sleep
On Sunday
He woke up

It was a three-day vacation
As He jets to the sky above

But He said it:
'Destroy this Temple
And in three days
I shall rebuild it'

His open eyes
Became the miracle pill
That restored our health

The injection
Of life support machine
That kept us alive

For though Holy man may sleep
He shall rise forever.

Destroy this Temple... Jesus was actually referring to His own body as the Temple. He thus refers to His death and resurrection.
