One by one
Two by two
They fall like a fallen tree
Kissed by forest death
Lonely forest of the day
Busy forest of the night
Shake hands with life and death
Bullet romance
Trigger bloody salute
With happy embrace
Green martyrs
Decorated with shining uniforms
Booths of war
Swallowed with pride
Thanks Susan for your valuable comments on this poem. I appreciate!
The earth dreams of the day when blood will no longer soak into its soil but in the meantime, we cannot allow murderers and tyrants and bigots to take over. And that is when our brave men [and women] step forward and out of love for their countrymen and their country put their life on the line to stop these murdering, bigoted tyrants.. Well done piece, very well-done.
Thanks Muzahidul Reza for your comment on this poem. I really appreciate. The poem celebrates soldiers who fought the insurgent terrorists who embarked on suicide bombing to eliminate thousands of people. Some died while trying to save lives from the terrorist. Their patriotic zeal and sacrifice is what is celebrated. Thanks for reading!
