Easy Prey Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..

I heard hundreds of stray dog's bark
That came from the nearby village
Adjacent to my domain area of forest
Where my eatery is meager and I am hungry
In a night I decided to catch one of the dog
When the news spread a wild life is came
And possible danger we faces in land
Then they laid a trap for me to be trapped
However I understood the way to escape
Now I am escaped and continues my life
Until I get a chance to catch my prey
That too in village where easy prey is available.
