just think...
if Adam and Eve
did not eat the apple
but had thought ahead
and killed the snake
and ate him instead
they'd get
their protein
and still keep
their sunshine
but now
we have knowledge
but little or no wisdom
and the snakes
are all of us
and paradise is now
just a graveyard of condos
if they'd eating that meat
instead of fruit
we'd still be
in paradise
If they hadn't eaten the fruit, THEY would still be in the garden of Eden and WE would not be born yet!
(cont.) BUT don't ask me to write my thoughts regarding 'Creation' of.....well....EVERYTHING! ! ! I'm too busy writing OTHER fiction and chatting with members here. : ) bri
According to what I heard in/was taught be 'my' Christian church, I'm destined to serve my everlasting 'death time' in 'HELL'. Hell, ...I don't believe it. ...but... (cont.)
I believe the Bible was written by human beings with no input by a 'supreme being'/god, maybe with the help of 'drugs'.
(cont.) I don't regret having been raised with church and 'Sunday School' on weekends. I believe most, maybe all, religions have had their 'good sides', teaching favorable behavior, and giving some people peace & hope. 5 stars. bri : )
'eating'? ? check your proper verb tense to use. Otherwise I like the poem a lot. I don't 'believe the Bible' but don't believe it was all (or any of it was?) meant to be taken 'literally'. (cont.)

Those condos have devoured so much of paradise. Perhaps the exchange made with that fruit was knowledge for wisdom. Wisdom really is somehow evasive. Will it ever be reclaimed? Brilliant verse, Kevin.
