Ebb Tides (Free Style) Poem by Dorian Petersen Potter

Ebb Tides (Free Style)

Here I am with you face to face,
Watching you carefully, deep in the eyes,
Meanwhile all the time I'm so afraid
To let you see in my heart all this love and this pain...

Always weaving around me, I know that for sure,
With all this web of intrigues, that threatens to engulf all of me,
And now there's no really a way out, anywhere, for you and me and
I cannot reach you at this point of our lives, it just seems to be,

I am just drowning all inside of me!
As I watch closely the waves rushing again to the sea, and kiss in their ebb all the shores,
And then the sun sets suddenly low, turning darker all the sky,
In my heart with its last breath, kissing all the tides in the night...
