In a city where towers scrape the sky,
And cars roar like beasts that never die,
A Sufi circle thrives, so small, so grand,
Guardians of a secret, in this urban land.
Sheikh Ahmed leads, his eyes like tranquil seas,
Speaking of the 'Unknown, ' with words that please.
'From this realm so hidden, all things arise—
Love, wisdom, and the dawn that paints the skies.'
Sarah, young and curious, a writer by trade,
Drawn to this enclave where silence is made.
Skeptical at first, but with a thirst to know,
She joins their chants, in candle's soft glow.
One eve, the Sheikh speaks of a mystic way,
To touch the Unknown, if one dares to stay.
'A caution, ' he warns, 'this path's not for all,
For some are uplifted, while others may fall.'
Sarah, intrigued, takes up the quest alone,
In her high-rise home, where the city's heart's shown.
She sits and she breathes, as the Sheikh had taught,
Seeking the Unknown, in her web of thought.
At first, only doubt, like a shadow, appears,
But then it dissolves, along with her fears.
The city's loud clamor fades into the night,
Replaced by a silence, pure and so bright.
For a moment, she's one with the cosmos' grand scheme,
A fleeting connection, like a half-remembered dream.
Overwhelmed and humbled, she opens her eyes,
To see a new city under the same old skies.
Towers of steel are now pillars of grace,
Reaching for the Unknown from the human base.
Faces in crowds are not strangers, but kin,
All from the Source, where all has been.
Sarah pens her tale, but words can't convey,
The depth of the Unknown that touched her that day.
Yet, the story finds home in hearts that yearn,
For the echo of truths that they too discern.
The Sufis continue, their circle so small,
In a world that often makes no sense at all.
And Sarah, transformed, knows the truth to be told,
The Unknown's the story, forever unrolled.
So in a world obsessed with the known and the seen,
They found peace and wisdom in what's always been—
The Source in the Unknown, the heart of the tale,
A Sufi odyssey, where words often fail.
The end, yet the beginning, as all circles find,
In the quest for the Unknown, in the landscape of the mind.
For in each ending, a new beginning takes its place,
In the eternal dance, in the Unknown's embrace.
